AFP quoted the authorities as saying in a statement that "initially, about twenty migrants were rescued when they encountered difficulties off the port of Dankirk in northern France, and then about forty people were rescued yesterday," noting that some of them were suffering from a slight case of hypothermia off Sangat, 50 km away. kilometers to the west.
The statement pointed out that the authorities received notification of the presence of another boat off Dick near Dunkirk, where nearly thirty migrants were rescued, adding that all were returned to the French coast, where they were taken care of by border police and firefighters.
