The day after, Tino Chrupalla hit the same line.
He thanked voters and his family, whom he had "neglected to a certain extent".
He praised the solid result of the party, even if he could not be "one hundred percent satisfied".
But he is proud of the election campaign, the result and the party.

But to whom?
Neither Jörg Meuthen nor Alice Weidel were apparently interested in expressing themselves directly.
Meuthen asked the top candidate of the AfD to do so, Weidel played the ball back.
"No, it was the turn of the federal spokesman," said Weidel in the direction of Meuthen.
"Your turn first," said Weidel when Meuthen asked.
He responded laconically: "Anyway, we can do it like that."

Meuthen called for an "intra-party and ruthless analysis" at the AfD.
He had an explanation for the bankruptcy in the federal election in 2021, said the federal spokesman, without going further.
At the same time, he emphasized that he had not agreed with parts of the AfD * election platform.
Then it was Alice Weidel's turn.
She thanked Tino Chrupalla "for the great election campaign", but not Jörg Meuthen.
The top candidate did not pay a glance to the federal spokesman for the AfD.
Weidel also contradicted Meuthen in terms of content.
"A great result" was achieved in parts of the republic and finally stabilized in the 2021 federal elections.
For them it was above all the "personnel debates within the election campaign" that had harmed the party.
Alice Weidel and Jörg Meuthen were at least partially in agreement.
"In Conclusio" (Meuthen) the result of the AfD must be processed in the party, and best of all "in medias res" (Weidel).
