Warngau - After an illegal car race in Reitham, the Holzkirchen police are looking for witnesses to the incident on Sunday.
On Sunday (September 26th), around 4 p.m., a resident in Reitham (municipality of Warngau) reported that three Porsche sports cars were driving through the town at excessive speed and apparently conducting a prohibited motor vehicle race.
"Later several sports cars drove on the state road St2073 between Mitterdarching and the federal road B318," said the Holzkirchen police station.
"There the vehicles overtook various uninvolved road users at excessive speed."
The Holzkirchen Police Inspectorate is now investigating a prohibited motor vehicle race and is asking witnesses who can provide relevant information about the incident to call 08024/90740.
Control of a drunk cyclist
In addition, the Holzkirchen police station reports from a 30-year-old mountain bike rider from Weyarn.
This drove on Sunday (September 26th), around 1 a.m., on Miesbacher Strasse in the direction of Mangfallweg.
"A police patrol who carried out a laser measurement there noticed him not because of excessive speed, but because he drove in conspicuous serpentine lines," says a message.
"During the inspection, the police officers found that the 30-year-old had a clear smell of alcohol and articulation difficulties typical of alcohol."
A breath alcohol test carried out on site showed a value beyond the 1.6 per mille limit applicable to cyclists.
The journey was stopped, the bike was safely parked and a blood sample was ordered at the hospital.
The 30-year-old must now expect a criminal complaint, three points in the central traffic register in Flensburg and a fine.
Accident with a pedelec rider
Alone and for an unknown reason, a 76-year-old from Holzkirchen fell on Saturday (September 25th), shortly after 3 p.m., at Roggersdorfer Straße 81 in Holzkirchen with his pedelec.
The pensioner injured himself slightly and was taken to the nearest hospital by an ambulance.
There was no property damage.
