Benediktbeuern - An accident occurred on the B11 near Benediktbeuern: A seriously injured motorcyclist had to be brought to the UKM by helicopter.
A 34-year-old Benediktbeurerin drove on Saturday (September 25th) around 12 noon with her Ford on Steinbacher Kirchenweg in the direction of B11.
She wanted to cross the main road and overlooked a motorcyclist.
The 41-year-old from Augsburg was driving his Harley-Davidson from Kochel on the B11.
Neither of the two could evade, the Augsburg driver fell as a result of the accident.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured and taken to the accident hospital in Murnau (UKM) by a rescue helicopter.
There they took care of his broken bones on his right upper arm and forearm.
According to the police, there was property damage to the Harley in the amount of 10,000 euros, and to the Ford in the amount of around 4,000 euros.
The federal road was closed until 2 p.m.
