From October 8th to 17th, jazz will be the focus in Ebersberg
Ebersberg - The EBE-JAZZ Festival has long since ceased to be a regional event on the scene.
"We get inquiries from musicians as well as other organizers who would like to work with us," said Frank Haschler, festival director and spokesman for IG EBE-JAZZ.
From October 8th to 17th, jazz in all its diversity is the focus of cultural life in Ebersberg.
"We will not fully utilize the possible number of spectators in the 'old store'", explained managing director Markus Bachmeier, "which is why we can do without the mask requirement at the square.
EBE-JAZZ 21 starts this year on October 8th with "Lines for Ladies" women power with New York's former First Lady of Bepob Sheila Jorden.
The Munich record label ENJA is celebrating its 50th anniversary with EBE-JAZZ 21.
Enja Records established itself as a home for individual and special artists and documents this with an exhibition and offers a highlight of the EBE-JAZZ Festival with the performance of the legendary Swiss trumpeter Franco Ambrosetti.
His voice is deep, his demeanor is relaxed and full of rhythm.
Mario Bondi, Soul Vocalist & Band will delight the audience in Ebersberg on October 9th.
Playing and reading, that's what Marcus A. Wölfle & Claus Raible stand for when they shed light on the life and work of jazz pianist Thelonious Monk on October 10th.
Furthermore, an extraordinary film biography about jazz legend Billie Holiday, workshops, jazz talks and matinees enrich the cultural enjoyment.
