This means that the distribution of seats in the upcoming Bundestag is also clear, as the Federal Electoral Officer officially announced.

• SPD: 206 seats

This also makes it clear: it is barely enough for red-red-green, nine seats are missing for the absolute majority.

But since the party has won three direct mandates in the constituencies, it is still allowed to move into the Bundestag with parliamentary groups.

The SPD won the federal election after the result of the counting of all 299 constituencies.

For the first time in several years, the Social Democrats rose again and came to 25.7 percent.

The last extrapolation of the election evening confirms the SPD's stability as the party that emerges most strongly from the 2021 federal election.

Closely behind is the Union, which, despite a disappointing result, is now speculating on various coalitions.

Bundestagswahl 2021 im Live-Ticker: Grünen-Politikerin angegriffen

+++ 9.55 Uhr: Ein Tag vor der Bundestagswahl 2021 ist im sächsischen Plauen ein Wahlkampfstand der Grünen angegriffen worden - dabei wurde eine Politikerin verletzt. Ein Mann sei am Samstag zu dem Stand auf dem Theaterplatz gegangen, habe „seinen Unmut geäußert“ und anschließend eine Mitarbeiterin mit einem Ei beworfen, so ein Polizeisprecher. Er habe zudem versucht, einen Politiker zu treten. Die 19-jährige Grünen-Mitarbeiterin trug einen Bluterguss davon, benötigte aber keinen Arzt. Eine Sprecherin des Grünen-Landesverbands bestätigte, dass es sich um die Kreisvorsitzende Lea Sophie Gauglitz handelt. Die Grünen hätten den Täter bis zum Eintreffen der Polizei festgehalten, die den 50-Jährigen vorläufig in Gewahrsam genommen habe.

Grünen-Kanzlerkandidatin Annalena Baerbock äußerte sich nach dem Angriff via Twitter. „Der Angriff auf unseren Wahlkampfstand in Plauen ist schockierend“. Baerbock ergänzte: „Umso mehr gilt: wir müssen jeden Tag für unsere liberale Demokratie einstehen. Und ich danke all jenen, die das Tag für Tag tun.“ Der Angriff in Plauen ist nicht die einzige Straftat mit Wahlkampf-Zusammenhang. Einem Medienbericht zufolge wurden bislang mehr als 4.200 Straftaten registriert. Die „Welt am Sonntag“ beruft sich dabei auf eine Umfrage unter den Bundesländern, wobei einzig Hessen keine konkreten Zahlen genannt habe. Demnach handele es sich vor allem um Sachbeschädigungen, insbesondere an Wahlplakaten. Aber auch Gewaltdelikte, Propagandadelikte und Beleidigungen seien verzeichnet worden.

Bundestagswahl 2021 hat begonnen: Wahllokale geöffnet

Update vom Sonntag, 26.09.2021, 8.00 Uhr: Die Bundestagswahl 2021 hat begonnen. Rund 60.000 Wahllokale haben am Sonntag (26.09.2021) um 8.00 Uhr geöffnet. Knapp 60,4 Millionen Wahlberechtigte sind aufgerufen, bis 18.00 Uhr Erst- und Zweitstimme abzugeben und so über die Zusammensetzung des neuen Bundestags zu entscheiden. Etwa 2,8 Millionen Bürgerinnen und Bürger nehmen erstmals an einer Bundestagswahl teil. Insgesamt stellen sich 47 Parteien zur Wahl.

Es wird damit gerechnet, dass diesmal so viele Menschen wie nie zuvor ihre Stimme per Briefwahl abgeben werden. Nach Angaben der Bundeswahlleitung könnten es diesmal mindestens 40 Prozent sein. 2017 machten bereits 28,6 Prozent der Wahlberechtigten von der Briefwahl Gebrauch. Die Wahlbeteiligung lag vor vier Jahren bei 76,2 Prozent.

Ergebnisse zur Bundestagswahl: Vernichtendes Umfrage-Urteil gegen Angela Merkel

Update vom Samstag, 25.09.2021, 08.17 Uhr: Der Wahlkampf zur Bundestagswahl 2021 geht dem Ende entgegen und schaut man auf die letzten Umfragen, ist noch alles offen. Nur knapp liegt die SPD vor CDU/CSU - es deutet sich ein spannender Wahlabend an. Am Samstag werben die Parteien nochmal um Stimmen. So treten Unions-Kanzlerkandidat Armin Laschet und Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel (beide CDU) zu ihrer letzten Kundgebung in Laschets Heimatstadt Aachen auf. September ist es so weit: Die Bürgerinnen und Bürger in Deutschland entscheiden bei der Bundestagswahl 2021, welche Parteien in den Bundestag einziehen und eine Mehrheit bekommen. Können CDU und CSU weiterhin die größte Fraktion im Parlament stellen oder wird die SPD stärkste Kraft? Wer beerbt Angela Merkel* als Bundeskanzler oder Bundeskanzlerin*? Der Ausgang der Wahl gilt als offen.

Bundestagswahl 2021: 60 Millionen Wahlberechtigte bestimmen mit

60,4 Millionen Wahlberechtigte* in Deutschland stimmen bei der Bundestagswahl ab, wer in den Bundestag* einzieht. Der Bundestag ist ein Teil der Legislative und ist damit für die Gesetzgebung zuständig. Zu den Aufgaben des deutschen Parlaments gehört außerdem die Wahl der Bundeskanzlerin oder des Bundeskanzlers sowie die Kontrolle der Regierung. Daher entscheidet die Bundestagswahl auch, wer in den nächsten vier Jahren regieren wird.

Die Wählerinnen und Wähler haben bei der Bundestagswahl 2021 zwei Stimmen. Mit der Erststimme entscheiden sie, welcher Kandidat oder welche Kandidatin über das Direktmandat in den Bundestag einzieht und ihre Region im Bundestag vertritt. Dazu gibt es 299 Wahlkreise in Deutschland. Mit der Zweitstimme entscheiden sie, welche Parteien in den Bundestag einziehen. Der Anteil der Zweitstimmen entscheidet darüber, wie viele Sitze sie im Bundestag erhalten. Für den Einzug in den Bundestag müssen jedoch deutschlandweit mindestens fünf Prozent der Stimmen erreicht werden.

Die Stimmabgabe ist am Wahlsonntag (26. September 2021) zwischen 8 und 18 Uhr im Wahllokal oder bereits zuvor per Briefwahl* möglich. Unmittelbar nach der Schließung der Wahllokale beginnt die Auszählung der Stimmzettel* und die ersten Hochrechnungen* und Ergebnisse* werden veröffentlicht.

Bei der Bundestagswahl 2021 treten 47 Parteien an. 40 von ihnen haben Landeslisten aufgestellt, sieben Parteien schicken nur Direktkandidierende ins Rennen um den Einzug in den Bundestag. Unter den Parteien sind auch die bereits im Bundestag vertretenen Parteien:

• CDU*/CSU*
• SPD*
• AfD*
• FDP*
• Bündnis 90/Die Grünen*
• Die Linke*

Union, SPD und Grüne haben außerdem Kanzlerkandidaten und eine Kanzlerkandidatin aufgestellt und damit ihren Anspruch auf die Führung der nächsten Bundesregierung bekräftigt. Armin Laschet* kandidiert für die Union, SPD-Kanzlerkandidat ist Olaf Scholz* und Annalena Baerbock* will erste grüne Bundeskanzlerin werden. Die übrigen im Bundestag vertretenen Parteien haben folgende Spitzenkandidierende aufgestellt:

• FDP: Christian Lindner*
• AfD: Alice Weidel, Tino Chrupalla
• Die Linke: Janine Wissler, Dietmar Bartsch*

Ergebnisse der Bundestagswahl: Wie ging die Wahl 2017 aus?

The CDU and CSU emerged as the strongest force in the 2017 federal election *.

Together, the Union parties received 32.9 percent of the second votes *.

The SPD came to 20.5 percent.

The FDP managed to return to the Bundestag with 10.7 percent.

The left got 9.2 percent, the Greens got 8.9 percent.

With 12.9 percent of the second votes, the AfD entered the German parliament for the first time.
