Mexico recorded 230 deaths and 3,007 new infections with the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The Mexican Ministry of Health said that the total number of HIV infections in the country reached three million and 635,807 infections, and deaths to 275,657 cases.
Mexico ranks fourth in the world in terms of deaths from the virus after the United States, Brazil and India.
In China, the National Health Committee announced the registration of 31 new infections, including 13 local infections, bringing the total number of infections to 96,801, while the number of deaths remains constant at 4,636 cases.
