The parents of the 43 normalistas from Ayotzinapa acknowledge that the Mexican Ministry of Defense provided information that would help clarify the disappearance of the young people on September 26, 2014, but they also demand that the Prosecutor's Office advance in its investigations to determine what participation could having had the Army in the facts, said the lawyer Humberto Guerrero.

In an interview with CNN, the member of the Commission for Truth and Justice of the Ayotzinapa case spoke with CNN in the framework of the seventh anniversary of the disappearance of the students, which occurred in Iguala, Guerrero.

Mexico's Defense Secretary said in January that the Army has collaborated with the authorities in the Ayotzinapa case, but that the institution does not have the powers to investigate these events.
