Six months before the presidential election, Emmanuel Macron remains appreciated and supported by 42% of French people who see him as a "
good president
".
According to Gaël Sliman, president of the institute, it is even “
a much better popularity score than those recorded by his last two predecessors at such a distance from the election
”.

Michel Barnier at 46% popularity
Prime Minister Jean Castex can also rejoice.
With 40% of good opinions, the head of government gains two popularity points.
Not enough to be the favorite politician of the French so far.
The status is retained by Édouard Philippe with 45% membership rating, ahead of Roselyne Bachelot (37%).
The mayor of Le Havre, however, retreated in the esteem of right-wing supporters outside the RN (-9 points) and placed just behind the former LR Xavier Bertrand (59% against 60%).

But it is especially on the side of LR Michel Barnier that the figures are positive.
According to this study, the former Brexit negotiator, candidate for the nomination on the right, has progressed by ten points with his sympathetic base.
With 46% popularity, it comes in sixth position.
The former minister however remains behind Valérie Pécresse who occupies third place (55%).

Despite the media space he occupies, the polemicist Eric Zemmour is on the other hand at the bottom of the ranking.
Ranked thirteenth among the political figures who generate the most support (19%), he is also one of the most disparaged figures.
Some 59% of those polled say they feel “rejection” towards it.
More than Jean-Luc Mélenchon (54%) and Marine Le Pen (52%).
