After a postponement of 4 weeks: Moshe Ivgi will begin his sentence tomorrow in a prison in the north

Ivgi was sentenced to 11 months in prison, after being convicted of indecent acts and sexual harassment - 5 years after the affair was revealed in Walla !.

Moshe Ivgi will begin serving his 11-month sentence at Hermon Prison in the north tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon, after being convicted of committing indecent acts on two women and sexually harassing another woman.

Ivgi was supposed to go to prison as early as August, but the Haifa Magistrate's Court postponed his four-week sentence to allow him to celebrate Tishrei with his family.

Advocate Michael Carmel, who represented Ivgi in the legal proceedings, said that "tomorrow is a sad day.

Moshe Ivgi will go to prison to want imprisonment not for the acts for which he was convicted, but because his name is Moshe Ivgi.

This is the low point in his life, and with his release he will start rebuilding them upwards. "

Ivgi's sentence was handed down last July, five and a half years since the Walla !.

On August 23, Ivgi announced that he had decided not to appeal his sentence, which also included monetary compensation of NIS 30,000 for one of the complainants.

The latest sentence came after the state appealed Ivgi's convictions in the previous trial, which ended in July last year and in which he was convicted of two indecent acts on one woman who worked with him in 2012.

The Haifa District Attorney's Office then demanded 15 months of actual imprisonment, but the court sentenced him to six months of community service, six months of probation and compensation to the same woman in the amount of ten thousand shekels.
