Nuremberg: through the city far too quickly

The police first became aware of the man on Thursday evening (September 23).

During a speed measurement, the BMW driver of the traffic police went online at around 8:45 p.m.

He was traveling at 125 kilometers per hour - 50 kilometers per hour were allowed.

During a subsequent check, the officers found that the vehicle had not been registered for several years and that the license plate had been issued on another vehicle.

An alcohol test showed 1.4 per mille.

Nuremberg: driver causes accident with driving school car

On the following Friday (September 24th) a driving school car had to brake on Rangaustraße.

An initially unknown Citröen driver drove into the stationary vehicle and caused a traffic accident.

The Citröen then fled from the scene of the accident.

Driving instructors and students were uninjured, and property damage occurred to the vehicle.

The police then started a search for the fugitive vehicle based on the license plate number.

A police patrol checked the owner's address and came across none other than the 30-year-old traffic bully from the previous day.

Again, the officers were able to find evidence of alcohol and drug influence.

Nuremberg: Driver has to answer for various offenses

The officials of the Nuremberg traffic police initiated a new investigation on suspicion of unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident, endangering road traffic and various other criminal offenses.

By order of the public prosecutor's office, the Citröen was seized.

Because of the incident the day before, the 30-year-old also has to answer for being drunk on the road, driving without a license and other violations of traffic law.

For exceeding the speed limit, the catalog of fines also provides for a three-month driving ban, two points in the Flensburg central traffic register and a fine of 480 euros.
