Puchheim - In the period between Thursday, September 23, 12 p.m. and Monday, September 27, 7 a.m., four excavator shovels were stolen from a construction site in Josefstrasse.
One of the stolen shovels was even still attached to the arm of the excavator. "
Based on the situation in
which it was found, the perpetrators must have started the excavator in order to get to
all four shovels,
" explains Police Chief Inspector Klaus Hofmeister. Due to the older year of construction of the excavator, however, a universal key of the corresponding brand was sufficient. The stolen shovels were worth around
20,000 euros
.
According to the police chief inspector, it cannot be ruled out that another theft in Benzstrasse is related to the theft of the excavator shovels.
The ramps of a vehicle transport trailer were stolen here during the same period.
These were worth 300 euros.
The Germering police asked witnesses who might have noticed something during the period of the crime to call 089 89 41 570.
