During his meeting today with the Syrian ministerial delegation visiting Amman, Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh stressed the importance of strengthening relations of cooperation and coordination between Jordan and Syria in various fields to serve the common interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
During the meeting, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Al-Khasawneh pointed out the need to translate the recent meetings and visits between the two countries into projects that benefit and benefit the two brotherly peoples and contribute to strengthening the bonds of historical brotherly relations that unite Jordan and Syria, expressing his wishes for Syria with greater security and stability. .
Al-Khasawneh also discussed with the delegation the possibility of accelerating the pace of transferring Egyptian gas and electricity to Lebanon through Jordan and Syria, by rehabilitating the electrical network in Syrian territory, stressing that Jordan is keen to support Lebanon in the difficult economic conditions it is going through.
In turn, the Syrian delegation reviewed the highlights of the meetings with the Jordanian ministers in the fields of transportation, intra-regional trade, water, agriculture and energy, stressing that there is a state of satisfaction among the Syrian people due to the return of visits and relations between the two brotherly countries.
Yesterday and today in the Jordanian capital, Amman, Syrian-Jordanian ministerial meetings took place to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, transport, electricity, agriculture and water resources.
A delegation from the Syrian side participated in the meetings, including the Ministers of Economy and Foreign Trade, Dr. Muhammad Samer Al-Khalil, Water Resources, Engineer Tammam Raad, Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Engineer Muhammad Hassan Qatna, and Electricity Engineer Ghassan Al-Zamil, in addition to their counterparts from the Jordanian side.
