However, if you want to go on holiday in Germany, you have to dig deep into your pocket.

In the popular holiday regions of Bavaria, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Baden-Württemberg, Saxony and Lower Saxony, the price increase for an overnight stay in a hotel is sometimes over 50 percent compared to autumn 2019.

Travel tip: Portugal and United Arab Emirates

The

Portuguese Algarve and Madeira
