CNN en Español announces that the renowned Cuban writer and poet Wendy Guerra joins the network as a collaborator and analyst, as well as a creator of alternative content for digital and linear platforms.
Wendy will also interview, with a very personal twist, the great names in the world of art and culture, whose social and political realities are intrinsic in their works.

Wendy Guerra is one of the most important literary authors in Latin America. He writes articles that have appeared in magazines and newspapers around the world, including: El País, The New York Times, The Miami Herald, El Mundo, La Vanguardia, among other media. His first collection of poems, Platea a Oscuras, earned him the Prize of the University of Havana when he was only sixteen years old.
His first novel, Todos se van (2006), based on his childhood and adolescent diaries in Cuba, received the Bruguera Prize and was selected by the newspaper El País as Best Novel in 2006;
with this title she also received the 2009 Carbet des Lycéens prize in France. The English translation was selected, by Latina magazine, as one of the nine best books of the year published by a Latina writer in the United States.
In 2014, it was adapted into a film by Colombian filmmaker Sergio Cabrera.
In 2010 she was appointed Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in France, and in 2016 she was elevated to the title of Officer of the same order.
