A man in his twenties was indicted and imprisoned for the murder of his 40-year-old neighbor Sunday, September 26 in the evening in Caro (Morbihan) during an altercation on the background of alcohol, announced the prosecutor of Lorient Tuesday in a statement.

Alerted by the neighborhood, having heard "
loud voices
" and "
insults
", the gendarmes discovered the victim around 10 p.m. on the ground of a garden "
very seriously injured, his face swollen and in a situation of cardiopulmonary arrest
" .
The man died the next morning in hospital.
The twenty-year-old suspect recognized
the violence

fairly generally
”, “
evoking punches and kicks to the victim,
” said Lorient prosecutor Stéphane Kellenberger.

No motive was particularly advanced, to explain the violence of the brawl, other than the alcoholization of the protagonists
", he added.
