The Syrian Telecom Company announced that 4 internet circuits were out of service due to a cable cut outside the Syrian borders, and that work is underway with the concerned party to fix the fault as soon as possible.
The company said in a statement, which SANA received a copy of, that “the interruption of one of the cables for Internet traffic outside the Syrian borders led to four Internet circuits being out of service, which slightly affected the quality of the Internet while maintaining its continuity through the rest of the available circuits.”
The company apologized to its subscribers for this sudden technical glitch that affected the quality of the internet service, stressing that work is underway in coordination with the concerned party to fix the malfunction as soon as possible.
