There is also the fact that the commercial, and above all sentimental, value of a diamond jewel or a watch makes ethical questions more significant and customers, ever more demanding… The announcement of the Watch this morning and Jewelery Initiative 2030, by Cartier and Kering, should push the sector to accelerate its eco-responsible transformation. How can we resist the sacred union of the world number one in precious jewelry and watches (with an estimated turnover of 4.5 billion euros) and the apostle of sustainable development in luxury (owner in the material from Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo,Qeelin, Ulysse Nardin and Girard-Perregaux)?
