Researchers at Kaspersky Security Labs have discovered a new Trojan horse known as BloodyStealer that threatens gamers' user accounts.
The new spyware, which is sold to anyone around Darknet at a cheap and attractive price, is able to locate and steal users' information from a wide range of popular gaming platforms, such as Steam's largest gaming platform in the world and other well-known platforms such as Epic Games Store, Origin, Ubisoft and more.
The new spyware is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that allow it to evade detection attempts at a variety of different security levels, making it one of the most dangerous threats gamers can encounter today.
The stolen user information is also sold throughout the Darknet at attractive prices - for example $ 14 for details of a thousand users.
This activity allows attackers to exploit accounts with a legitimate and innocent appearance in order to use them to commit additional cyber scams.
