Kiel - After a dispute with three injured people in a Kiel drugstore, two men are investigated for attempted manslaughter.

The police announced that the arrest warrant was issued against the two 21 and 22-year-old suspects on Tuesday.

Both were then taken to correctional facilities.

According to police, two men aged 21 and 26 got into an argument in the Mettenhof district on Monday afternoon.

The trigger was probably a misunderstanding.

After witnesses settled the dispute, it escalated again with the appearance of a relative (22) of the 21-year-old.

The 21-year-old probably inflicted serious injuries to the 26-year-old's upper body with a knife, it said.

The attacked is now out of danger.

During the confrontation, the two attackers also injured themselves, probably with their own knife.

According to an emergency doctor, the police officers of the 1st precinct, who found the 22-year-old suspect sitting in the car, had averted life-threatening blood loss through their first aid, the police said.
