After years of leading the Enterprise spacecraft across the galaxy and places where no human foot has yet trodden, Captain Kirk is finally going to visit space.
Or at least William Shatner, the man behind the iconic Star Trek character who is going to join a short and prestigious list of astronauts (and some billionaires) scheduled to fly into space in a few days, on the Blue Origin spacecraft.

In this way, Shatner will become the first MDA star to cross the Earth's borders in reality, as well as the oldest person to fly into space. , The spacecraft will fly two more passengers (who paid for the pleasure out of their deep pockets), as well as the spacecraft's mission and flight deputy, Audrey Powers.
The visit to the space will last no more than ten minutes, and will reach an altitude of 106 kilometers.
Shatner could also become the first actor in space next week if Russia had not decided to land the first film crew in the same space this week (including director and actors), with the aim of filming the first full-length film outside the Earth's borders.
Alongside this, rumors in the US are that actor Tom Cruise plans to shoot a movie in space as well.
