Although the events in question did not make headlines in Israel, the UEFA announced tonight (Tuesday) that they intend to investigate the antisemitic incidents during the game between Union Berlin and Maccabi Haifa in the regional league last Thursday.
It was also announced on behalf of the European Football Association that in the coming days an inspector would be appointed on his behalf to investigate the disciplinary offenses, which were apparently committed by me by the German fans.
It should be noted that during the game, several media outlets in Germany reported that antisemitic shouts were heard from one of the stands and that the Israeli flag was burned.
