This Wednesday October 6 at 6 am, the SNCF opens for sale TGV inOui and Intercités tickets for the period from Sunday December 12 to Sunday January 2, 2022. As with each opening of sales, the first customers to book are the more likely to find the best rates ... or just get a seat. Some trains running around Christmas are traditionally crowded and sell out quickly.
All tickets are exchangeable and refundable free of charge up to three days before departure regardless of the rate chosen.
From two days before departure, a deduction of € 15 per person per trip applies on TGV inOui.
It is 40% of the price of the ticket on Intercités with compulsory reservation (within the limit of 12 €).
Among the novelties this winter, the opening of two new
night train
lines in
early December.
One, between Paris and Tarbes via Toulouse, will run from December 10.
The other will connect Paris to Vienna, Austria, from December 13.
Note also the reopening of the Intercités de nuit between the capital and Briançon (Hautes-Alpes) on December 12 after nine months of interruption due to work.

The low-cost subsidiary of SNCF, which recently announced many new features, will serve the ski resorts of the Tarentaise valley this winter. From December 16 to March 28, 2021, a daily return trip will be provided between Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, serving Marne-la-Vallée, Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Grenoble, Albertville, Moutiers -Salins and Aime-la-Plagne (from € 16, or fixed price of € 5 for children under 12). New expected for spring: a line between Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle airport and Quimper via Rennes and Lorient which will operate from April 1 and untilin September at the rate of one round trip per day.

Standard and Standard Premier tickets can be exchanged free of charge up to seven days before departure (the possible price difference between the old and the new ticket is the responsibility of the customers) but remains non-refundable.

which serves Brussels, Amsterdam and Cologne in particular, has opened its sales until Sunday January 9, 2022. Tickets reserved before December 31, 2021 can be exchanged until the time of departure for free or with a charge of five euros. according to the chosen rate.
