There are particularly high incidences in southeast Bavaria.
Nevertheless, the number of patients in the hospitals has hardly increased.
Is there any reason to hope?
Munich / Traunstein - Bavaria ranks second, third and fourth in Germany.
Unfortunately, however, in a table in which you don't want to swim up front.
The districts of Traunstein (250.7; LGL October 4), Berchtesgadener Land * (234.2) and Rosenheim * (221.2) together with Bremerhaven make up the top four of the districts with the highest 7-day incidence.
About half a year ago that would have been more than worrying.
Today the number can even give hope.

Corona hotspots in Bavaria: Traunstein has been at the fore for weeks
A high incidence and the associated high infection rate is definitely no reason to celebrate. From September 27 to October 3 alone, 447 people in Traunstein * were newly infected with the corona virus *. The district now has 220 dead. However, the situation is different, as it was at the beginning of the year. The
world
journalist Olaf Gersemann writes on Twitter: “In Traunstein, the incidence has been over 200 for 10 days - and at least more than 190 for a good 3 weeks severe cases apparently low. "
Traunstein gives hope

The hospital traffic light is still green despite the high incidence in Traunstein.
Of 668 active cases in the district, 22 people are treated as inpatients.
Two of these patients need intensive care and ventilation, according to the circle's homepage.
At peak times in spring, 18 Covid 19 patients were sometimes in the intensive care units.
The fact that so few people have to endure difficult courses is probably also due to the vaccination quota in Traunstein.
Around 95,000 citizens have already received a second vaccination (as of October 4th).
This means that the value is below the Bavarian average of 62.4 percent, but over 56 percent of the district residents are now fully immunized.
Corona hotspots in Bavaria: Vaccinations protect against a severe course
The
ARD
knowledge magazine Quarks has proven
that the vaccination protects against a severe course
with data from various studies.
The probability of ending up in the hospital after the second vaccination decreases by 93 percent.
Despite the vaccination, 653 people still died in Germany.
Without it, however, there have been over 93,000 so far.
The knowledge magazine also addresses the fear of side effects.
There were no side effects in 99.8 percent of all vaccinations carried out in Europe, according to Twitter.
In the remaining 0.2 percent, the side effects mostly healed completely.
