In the trial against the alleged gunman in Trier, two investigators will have their say today.
The police questioned the 52-year-old after his arrest.
Five people were killed in the rampage in Trier on December 1, 2020.
There were also numerous injured and traumatized people.
Trier - The public prosecutor's office accuses the accused of fivefold murder and attempted murder in 18 other cases.
He is said to have raced through the Trier pedestrian zone in his off-road vehicle in order to kill or injure as many people as possible.
In doing so, he drove randomly and purposefully towards passers-by in a zigzag course.
At the start of the trial on August 19, the defendant said before the Trier district court that he did not want to make a statement.
The trial against the German is scheduled until the end of January 2022.
