The parliamentary group will in future be led by a dual leadership with Elisabeth Kula and Jan Schalauske, as a spokesman announced on Wednesday in Wiesbaden.
The duo was voted unanimously.
Torsten Felstehausen was confirmed - also unanimously - in the office of Parliamentary Managing Director.
Wiesbaden - The previous parliamentary group leader Wissler had received a mandate for the Bundestag in the federal election at the end of September, she is moving to parliament in Berlin.
In February of this year she was elected co-chair of the Left.
Wissler had led the parliamentary group since 2009.
