A man is blind in his left eye after an attack in Sinsheim (Rhein-Neckar-Kreis).
The 54-year-old collected returnable bottles in the pedestrian zone early Saturday morning, the police announced on Wednesday.
According to previous knowledge, a passing stranger kicked the man in the leg with his foot.
The 54-year-old then insulted the attacker.
Sinsheim - The alleged perpetrator then hit the bottle collector in the face with the flat of his hand.
Rescue workers tended the bleeding wound on the left eye of the victim, who lost his sight during the attack.
The police are now looking for the attacker.
