New corona rules: organizers still unsure in some cases

The corona rules in the areas of sport and culture have been relaxed. If organizers use 2G (vaccinated and convalescent) or 3G plus (also those tested with a PCR test), the mask requirement and the distance requirement that were previously in effect will be lifted. Many organizers in the district welcome the easing. How and when the new rules will be implemented is often still unclear.

Fürstenfeldbruck - With the third division handball players of the TuS Fürstenfeldbruck you don't really know how to deal with the new rules.

“I'm torn here and there,” says department head Michael Schneck.

Letting go of the mask and distance requirement is now allowed with 2G and 3G plus.

"But what do we do with children who are still at an age when they are not vaccinated or regularly tested?" They are regularly present in the Brucker Halle.

“And we have a certain responsibility towards them.” That is why the TuS recently also called for FFP2 masks when the legislature had already approved surgical masks.

No decision has yet been made at TuS, but time is of the essence.

The next home game is next Saturday against Balingen.

Fürstenfeld actually quite satisfied

The Fürstenfeld event forum is actually quite satisfied with the previous 3G rule.

The size of the rooms means that the minimum clearances can be kept well, says manager Norbert Leinweber.

However, they want to offer external organizers again sold-out halls.

"Then we would have to introduce 3G or 2G plus." Leinweber is also considering including the city of Fürstenfeldbruck in the decision.

In general, he would like to introduce new rules more in advance.

"Because short-term changes are very difficult to implement."

And in the cinema?

The cinemas are also affected by the new rules.

Markus Schmölz, managing director of Scala in Fürstenfeldbruck, wants to use the new freedom as soon as possible.

Because now the main season for the movie theaters begins.

“We have a lot of catching up to do,” says Schmölz.

In addition, very few guests would come to show a test anyway.

The vast majority of visitors are vaccinated.

Not much will change for visitors to the Cineplex cinema in the GEP shopping center in Germering.

According to Marketing Manager Susanne Schubert, 100 percent occupancy of the halls was already possible.

But stick to a cautious rule that has proven itself: one seat remains free to the left and right of each group of visitors that belong together.
