In Miesbach there are currently again disabilities in road traffic.

The reason for this are two construction sites - a private building on Münchner Strasse and the renovation of Schlierseer Strasse.

These two construction sites at strategically important places are currently clearly noticeable in road traffic in Miesbach.

Since Thursday last week, Münchner Straße has been closed on one side from Bayrischzeller Straße - the opposite direction is open.

As reported, the reason for this is the construction site on the site of the former Kathan car dealership.

Instead of simply turning towards the city center, the vehicles have to continue to Rosenheimer Strasse, which significantly increases the waiting time at the intersection.

And that will stay that way for some time, because the driveway is expected to remain closed until spring 2022.

The renovation of Schlierseer Straße, which has been completely closed since Monday between the entrance to Habererplatz and the Edeka parking lot, has been completed much faster - the entrance from Carl-Fohr-Straße is also closed. In the area of Waitzinger Wiese and Waitzinger Keller, the surface layer has already been milled away and the asphalt removed between Edeka and the entrance to the tax office (photo on the right). The material is stored on the Waitzinger Wiese.

According to Jürgen Brückner, who is responsible for civil engineering at the city, the substructure of the road looks pretty good.

The chances are not bad that the renovation, which costs around 240,000 euros, can be completed faster than in the planned three to four weeks.

For the Waitzinger Keller cultural center and the Stuzubi training fair on Saturday, October 9th, that comes too late.

Because for the stand builders and 43 exhibitors as well as their trucks, the construction site in front of the hall means quite a restriction.
