Now the mask can be left off in the cinema, museum or stadium - under certain conditions.

Clubs and bars have recently reopened.

With the 3G plus rule (vaccinated, recovered, PCR-tested) party fans can party, dance and drink without a mask and distance rules.

Now there should also be this possibility for other events or cultural sites.

As State Chancellor Florian Herrmann (CSU) said yesterday evening, changes to the corona rules will come into force again on Wednesday, October 6th.

2G or 3G plus

From this point in time, 2G (vaccinated, recovered) or 3G plus (vaccinated, recovered, PCR-tested) are possible in all areas in which the 3G rule currently applies.

With 2G or 3G plus, the minimum distance and mask requirement are no longer applicable.

Personnel limits and alcohol bans are also no longer applicable.

The operators and organizers can decide for themselves whether or not to use this option.

An exception still applies to schoolchildren, as they are tested three times a week anyway.

Penalty for Violations

Changes in this direction are possible in sports facilities, theaters, operas, cinemas, museums, conferences, congresses, libraries, and music schools.

In order to use the new freedoms, however, strict access regulations must be adhered to, such as identification and controls of the vaccination status or test certificate.

Organizers who do not adhere to these conditions will have to pay a fine of 5,000 euros.

Participants who break the rule were fined 250 euros.

Dancing allowed in gastronomy again

If a host in his restaurant opts for 2G or 3G plus, you can dance there again.

Drinking and eating at the bar in taverns is then also allowed.

Corona tests in Austria free of charge

While the corona rapid tests in Bavaria are chargeable from October 11, Austria has extended the free rapid tests until March.
