The Forestry and Fire Monitoring Platform of the General Authority for Remote Sensing announced that the indicators of the danger of the spread of fires indicate that the forest areas in northwestern Syria are affected by the high and very high levels of danger from today until tomorrow, Thursday.
The head of the platform in the commission, Dr. Rosa Karmouqa, explained in a statement to the representative of SANA that the platform published an update to its bulletin showing a map of the danger of fires for forest areas in northwest Syria for the period from today until tomorrow, Thursday, and it shows the transition of some areas to being affected by high and very high levels of danger after they were under control. Medium severity indicators.
She pointed out that the platform warned against lighting any fire because our forests are still within the fire season, calling for reporting any fire as soon as it breaks out on the toll-free numbers 188 and 113.
