Despite the corona pandemic, it will not be possible for restaurateurs in Hamburg to use patio heaters outdoors in autumn and winter.
The government factions of the SPD and the Greens have rejected a corresponding application from the CDU citizenship faction to extend the exemption, as announced by the CDU citizenship faction.
Hamburg - "The rejection of our application by the government factions is incomprehensible," said David Erkalp, spokesman for trade and tourism of the CDU parliamentary group.
"Even if the restaurateurs now have the opportunity to occupy their interiors more with 2G or 3G, there are still a large number of Hamburgers who prefer to use outdoor catering out of caution."
