A man suspected of murder was killed by police after the vehicle in which he was escaping broke down Tuesday on a freeway in Los Angeles, California, according to a report.
Jesse Medrano, 35, was shot by a California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer on Interstate 105
near the intersection with Interstate 710.
CHP officers arrived there after receiving a call reporting a damaged vehicle on the road.
