The IT technician and stepfather is seen as a mastermind in the complex, which revolves around rape of children in a gazebo in Münster and other places in Germany.
The man was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment and subsequent preventive detention in the main trial.
When giving reasons for the judgment at the beginning of July, after more than 50 days of negotiation, the regional court had spoken of acts that “far exceeded the boundaries of what is imaginable”.
