Now the District Court of Münster is ruling against the mother of a boy who has been severely raped by numerous men.

The prosecution has called for ten years in prison.

Münster - In the abuse complex in Münster, the regional court will announce the verdict against the mother of a victim on Wednesday (12 noon). The prosecution accuses the 32-year-old of failing to prevent the serious repeated sexual abuse of her now 12-year-old son. The public prosecutor has asked for 10 years imprisonment; In her opinion, the process has at least partially confirmed the allegations against the German. This is about the allegation of aiding and abetting through omission. One of the two defense lawyers pleaded for six years in prison, the other for a mild sentence.

The woman had surprisingly made a partial confession before the pleading.

On the penultimate day of the trial, she admitted that she had considered the abuse possible since October 2019.

But she was not able to end the relationship.

In her last word, the 32-year-old expressed her regret.

At the start of the trial in early August, she had still denied the allegations.

Most of the proceedings - in order to protect the victim - took place in camera.

So far, no details about the mother's curriculum vitae or the relationship with the stepfather of her child have become known.

According to a court spokesman, an expert assessed the 32-year-old as fully culpable.

The IT technician and stepfather is seen as a mastermind in the complex, which revolves around rape of children in a gazebo in Münster and other places in Germany.

The man was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment and subsequent preventive detention in the main trial.

When giving reasons for the judgment at the beginning of July, after more than 50 days of negotiation, the regional court had spoken of acts that “far exceeded the boundaries of what is imaginable”.

This judgment is not yet final.
