Looking for an upgraded match? Pay. Tinder launches its own internal currency Israel today

2021-10-07T12:33:22.625Z

The feature is expected to be added to the app's paid subscription options and help the world find an upgraded love with a dedicated currency

It is said that love and money do not mix.

So they say.

Tinder will launch next month, first in Australia and later in other countries, virtual apps designed for the app (similar to Fortnite's Levi-Bucks, for example), which will give users upgraded options for finding a suitable match.

Love seekers will accumulate the coins by maintaining active profiles and performing various actions in the world's leading dating app.

On the other hand, the virtual currencies, which will probably also be available for purchase with real money, will give users coveted bonuses, such as super likes and boosts, which give greater chances of finding love.

The Bloomberg website, which spoke with company executives ahead of the launch of the feature, said that "the purpose of the coins is to create a richer experience for users, beyond the traditional 'swipe right' method of finding a romantic partner."

Tinder, at its core, is admittedly a free app, but on the other hand it is also quite limited - or rather restrictive.

Therefore, it is already possible to purchase premium subscriptions for it in various degrees ("Tinder Plus", "Tinder Gold" and "Tinder Platinum"), which remove the restrictions and provide other treats (for example, the number of sweeps that can be done in 12 hours).

Also, even those who do not subscribe, can purchase boosts and super likes for real money.

The new internal currency, whose name has not yet been revealed (T-Bucks, anyone?), Will actually be used as an intermediate option, between the free subscription and the fixed subscription for a fee.

It will encourage love-sick users to plow through the app more in order to accumulate more coins, find more love (not enough one, in the end?) And return for goodness sake until dawn.
