STORY - The candidate of La France insoumise wants to appear as the only credible alternative to Emmanuel Macron and to the right.


Jean-Luc Mélenchon has not yet "made the hole" on the left.

If he is ahead of the ecologist Yannick Jadot and the socialist Anne Hidalgo in the polls (both are measured around 6%), the LFI candidate is struggling to widen the gap, stabilizing around 10% of voting intentions.
