The number of new admissions of Covid-19 patients in hospitals in Lower Saxony has increased slightly.
The so-called hospitalization value was 2.2 on Wednesday after 2.1 on Tuesday.
The country announced this on its Corona website.
This is how many people per 100,000 inhabitants came to a clinic in connection with a Covid 19 disease in the past seven days.
Hanover - The number is considered to be the new leading indicator, i.e. the most important factor for evaluating the corona situation in Lower Saxony.
Another measure, on the other hand, indicated that the infection process was continuing to wane.
For Wednesday, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave a seven-day incidence of 42.1 for Lower Saxony.
On Tuesday there were 45.6 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week.
In the intensive care units, 3.8 percent of the available beds were occupied by Covid 19 patients on Wednesday.
