In the trial of singer Udo Lindenberg's (75) stolen Porsche, the defendant was acquitted of this charge by the Hamburg-St.-Georg district court.
The 26-year-old was sentenced to two years and three months in prison on Wednesday for joint theft in three other cases, the court press office said.

At the start of the trial on September 22nd, the defendant had denied any involvement in the theft of the Lindenberg Porsche, but admitted through his lawyer that he was present in the three other acts.
According to the indictment, he and strangers stole car keys from lockers in indoor swimming pools in October and November 2019 and then stole three cars.

After the theft of a sports car belonging to the singer Udo Lindenberg, a 26-year-old must appear before the district court of Hamburg-St.
