If organizers choose the 2G model, other hygiene requirements such as distance, mask requirement or contact follow-up obligations may not apply.

According to the new regulations for 2G vaccinated and convalescent persons, children under seven years of age are treated equally. According to Glawe, they can therefore be taken to the events without a test. Seven to twelve year olds, on the other hand, have to show a daily negative rapid test, this also applies to adolescents up to the age of 16. People who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons are admitted to the events with a quick test or self-test.
The Minister of Health also made it clear once again that all sectors that were part of the basic service could not offer 2G: This includes, for example, retail, hairdressers, hardware stores or delivery services. The rules for spectators for cultural and sporting events in the outdoor area were also relaxed according to the cabinet resolutions. From Friday on, you can use 75 percent of the available seats, this also applies to football games in the 2nd Bundesliga.
The food-enjoyment-restaurants union (NGG) saw in a reaction to the 2G option model on Wednesday the risk of a “mandatory vaccination through the back door”.
The legislature had decided against compulsory vaccination, "this decision must not be passed on to employers in the form of an elective model and thus carried out on the back of the employees," warned an NGG spokeswoman.
