53% of pro-democracy supporters oppose the election and 25% support it

The survey was held from October 4th to 7th and successfully interviewed 6,071 Hong Kong residents over 12 years old.

Among the supporters of the pro-democracy party, only 15% support the election of the pro-democracy party. Almost 11% support the election. When the two are added together, about 25% support the election.

And 40% of the pro-democracy supporters are against running for the election, 13% say they are quite against it, and a total of about 53% are against running for the election.

For non-democratic supporters, 43% support the election and 30% oppose it.

Overall, 37% support the election and 38% oppose it.

The government postponed the Legislative Council elections originally scheduled for September 2020 and will be held in December 2021.
