Little David, 5 years old, and his father, Bogdan Hristache, who on Tuesday morning had kidnapped him along with three other people, were found aboard a train on the border between Romania and Hungary, snatching him from his mother's arms in Padua. The first news of the discovery of the man, who last night had begun to publish his and his son's images together on the train on social networks, were confirmed by institutional sources last night. The man was allegedly taken by the Romanian authorities, the child instead placed safely in a protected location. The child's family, incredulous, waited many hours before being formally informed of the positive outcome of the investigation. The father and kidnapper of the child had an order not to approach mother and son,a decision taken by the Romanian court which had judged it dangerous. The investigation in Italy for abduction of an incapable person was coordinated by the public prosecutor of Padua and carried out by the carabinieri who worked on the case tirelessly.
