Grimes County, Texas authorities are intensifying their search for 3-year-old Christopher Ramirez, who disappeared more than 24 hours ago while playing with his dog outside his home.
Araceli Núñez, the boy's mother, begged this Thursday for any information about the little boy,
who was last seen on Wednesday at 1:30 pm with his pet after returning from shopping with his family.
While the adults unloaded the market from the car, the minor was distracted by the dog and disappeared, when they noticed the absence, his mother, other relatives and some neighbors searched for him for 20 minutes before reporting him to the authorities.

"It's been a long time, I don't know what to do anymore
(...) I'm desperate," Núñez said in statements to Telemundo Houston.

The efforts of the authorities already include several institutions such as the Police, firefighters, the FBI, rescue agencies and hundreds of volunteers,
who are using all kinds of resources such as drones, helicopters and all-terrain vehicles to find the whereabouts of the less.
Although there is no indication that the disappearance of the child has to do with any criminal act, his mother thinks that someone took him away.
"Please return my child to me," Núñez asked.
However, Sheriff Donald G. Sowell assures that this is not a theory they are contemplating.

"Right now we are focused on the immediate area. We are looking a day later and there is nothing that shows us at this time that there are signs of kidnapping," Sowell said.
One of the neighbors in the area saw Christopher follow the dog.
Minutes later, the pet returned home without the child.
The officers assured that security cameras are being reviewed of the houses in the area.
Residents of the area have joined the search.

The boy is about three feet tall and weighs about 45 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt and Mickey Mouse shoes.
