Berlin / Munich - Just recently, Volkswagen * boss Herbert Diess received maliciousness on Twitter.
Shortly after the federal election *, he presented a detailed catalog of demands to politicians.
Not least for the demand to raise the CO2 tax, he got plenty of negative comments.

In overcrowded urban centers, the car - including the emission-free e-car - will only be accepted in future if the bike has enough space in the mobility mix. "
The message of his tweet would in itself be harmless if it did not come from the CEO of Germany's largest automobile manufacturer, as some Twitter users chalked him up.
"Well, I have to say, if you keep going like this, at some point you will still believe it is your real opinion and not #greenwashing," is one of the comments.
Other comments like “Herbert, we don't believe you”, “Unfortunately I don't trust Volkswagen.
You don't believe anyone who lies once ”or“ When will the VW Volksrad come? ”Clearly show what the majority of users think of the tweet.
"If you are serious about this, please stop building bigger and bigger cars and make sure that other automakers stop doing so too," someone demanded.

500 colleagues could now “cycle right to the workplace in the factory” - that was apparently not possible before.
One user commented that employees had to walk just under 1.5 kilometers.
Two VW employees had been working for five years to create the conditions for the pilot project.
"Thank you for your great commitment, congratulations on your success," wrote Herbert Diess on LinkedIn.
There the tone in the comment area is mostly positive.
"Totally great" or "great" praised some.
Whether the head of the automotive group is actually committed to a balanced mobility mix for the benefit of the environment outside of his company remains questionable.
