In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, 99 more corona infections were registered on Saturday.
That was 19 less than the day before and 12 less than the Friday of the previous week, as can be seen from the data from the State Office for Health and Social Affairs (Lagus) in Rostock.
The seven-day incidence fell to 46.9 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week.
Rostock - 15 new infections were registered in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg, which has the highest seven-day incidence in the country at 70.3.
Since the district was shown on Thursday for the third day in a row with yellow on the risk-weighted tier map, stricter corona rules apply there from Saturday.
As is currently the case in Schwerin and in the districts of Rostock, Vorpommern-Rügen and Vorpommern-Greifswald, people who have not been vaccinated have to present negative corona tests when they go to the hairdresser, theater, museum, restaurant or cinema.
According to the ordinance, masks must generally be worn in schools.
However, there are currently holidays and a mask requirement has already been made nationwide for the start of school on Monday.
The state capital is no longer colored yellow on the Corona traffic light map for the second day, but green.
However, until the current restrictions are lifted, this must continue for another three days.
With Ludwigslust-Parchim, however, a new circle jumped to yellow on Saturday, so new rules could soon apply there.
The districts of the Mecklenburg Lake District (16.3), the state capital Schwerin (45) and the city of Rostock (40.7) were below the threshold of 50 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days.
In terms of hospitalization incidence, all regions of the country are still in the green.
It indicates the number of people per 100,000 inhabitants who were admitted to hospital with Covid-19 in the past seven days.
Nationwide, this value was 1.1.

In the clinics, 34 Covid patients were treated unchanged on Saturday.
There were 13 Covid patients in intensive care units, three fewer than the day before.
The Lagus did not report any new coronavirus-related deaths, bringing the total since the northeast pandemic started at 1206.
