In Frankfurt on Friday there was an accident with several vehicles and a bus on the B521 at the Bergen bypass.
The bus driver was trapped, but has now been released, said a fire department spokesman.
It is still unclear whether it was possibly a school bus.
There were children in the vehicle.
It was initially unclear whether they were also injured and how many injured there were in total.
Frankfurt / Main - The rescue measures are currently still in progress, the spokesman said.
The accident site was fully closed, said a police spokesman.
The police are on site with numerous emergency services.
There is still no information on how the accident came about.

Bus catches fire on A46: No injuries
A bus caught fire on Autobahn 46 near Neuss.
The driver was able to save himself uninjured on Friday, passengers were not in the bus, said a spokesman for the fire department.
Several callers had reported by emergency call in the morning that a burning bus was parked on the hard shoulder.
The strong smoke could be seen from afar, said the spokesman.

Numerous ambulances and emergency doctors are in use.
Especially the front of the bus is completely dented.
