The corona incidence in Rhineland-Palatinate rose slightly for the third day in a row.
With 391 new infections within 24 hours (as of 2.10 p.m.) there was an incidence of 53.9 infections per 100,000 inhabitants on Friday, as the state investigation office announced.
On Thursday it was 52.3.
Mainz - The hospitalization incidence - i.e. the number of hospital cases per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days - fell from 2.0 to 1.6.
Of the available beds in intensive care units, 3.85 percent were occupied by Covid 19 patients, on Thursday it was 3.67 percent.
Currently, 9142 people in Rhineland-Palatinate are verifiably infected with the Sars-CoV-2 virus.
The number of Covid-19 patient deaths since the pandemic began in February 2020 has increased by six to 4,015.

This is followed by the district of Germersheim (89.1) and the districts of Südliche Weinstrasse and Alzey-Worms (both 84.9).
The seven-day incidence is lowest in the Kusel district at 15.7.
