The Iraqi forces announced the destruction of a hideout for the terrorist organization (ISIS) south of Khanaqin in Diyala Governorate, east of the country.
The Iraqi News Agency, INA, quoted the Iraqi Security Media Cell as saying in a statement that, under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command of the Iraqi F-16s, an air strike was directed, during which it targeted a hideout for the terrorist organization (ISIS) inside, a number of criminal elements in Wadi Al-Thalab, south of Khanaqin district.
The statement indicated that the strike resulted in the destruction of the den and the killing of those inside it.
The Iraqi forces continue to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorists in various regions of the country.
