The health authority gave the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants within a week on Saturday at 63.4.
On Friday the value was 61.0, a week ago it was 68.3.
Hamburg - On Saturday, 188 newly detected corona infections were added, 11 more than the day before, but 46 fewer than on Saturday a week ago.
The number of people who have died in connection with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic rose by 1 to 1,749, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
