With the participation of 60 players, the joint refresher training held by the Technical Committee of Judo and Sambo in Lattakia was concluded in the game hall at Al-Basel Stadium between the governorate’s players and a number of Damascus countryside players in the framework of developing skills and exchanging experiences.
In a statement to SANA’s sports reporter, the head of the committee, Haitham Habib, pointed out that the players who participated in the training from the categories of cubs, juniors and youth represented Hittin clubs, Lattakia workers, Latakia police, the coastal army, training centers and Beit Saber Club from Damascus countryside, and it was a good opportunity to exchange experiences and friction between players to develop their individual skills.
Habib added that these meetings are a good opportunity that enabled the coaches to stand up to the level of their players technically and physically, which will help them in the process of preparing them to prepare them to participate in any upcoming tournaments.
As for the president of Beit Saber Club, Omar Haswieh, he indicated that the training contributed to creating a sporting and social atmosphere between the players and the game’s cadres, calling on the rest of the clubs in other governorates to strengthen such meetings and activate them for their great role in developing the game.
