The Macau typhoon No. 8 is still in effect, and the Macau Geophysical and Meteorological Bureau will change the No. 3 typhoon signal at 2 am today (10).

It is expected that Typhoon Signal No. 3 will be maintained for a period of time.

At the same time, the storm surge warning was cancelled at 2 o'clock and a thunderstorm warning signal was issued.

At 2 o'clock, the tropical storm Lion Rock gathered about 510 kilometers west-southwest of Macau and is gradually moving away from Macau.

The Geophysical and Meteorological Bureau of Macau stated that the "Lion Rock" is gradually moving away from Australia, and its co-accompaniment effect with the northeast monsoon has also eased, and the wind in Macau has gradually weakened.

However, the coast of Guangdong will continue to be affected by the outer rainbands related to the "Lion Rock" at the beginning of the 10th. There are occasional heavy showers and thunderstorms in Macau, with the maximum wind reaching levels 6 to 7 and gusts. Be cautious and take measures to prevent wind.

In addition, the tropical storm "Compasses" currently located east of the Philippines is expected to cross the Luzon Strait into the northern part of the South China Sea by the middle of next week. The Macao Geophysical and Meteorological Bureau will closely monitor its latest developments.
